Auto Repair in Birch Hills, SK

Birch Hills, SK

The small town of Birch Hills is located in central Saskatchewan, about 35 kilometers southeast of Prince Albert. It’s surrounded by Birch Hills Rural Municipality (No. 460), though not a part of it. The city covers a mere 2.2 square kilometers of land, home to a population of about 1,100 people.

Incorporated as a village in 1907 and as a town in 1960, Birch Hills is known as “a small town with a big heart.” The name comes from the surrounding hills, where birches were cut for making canoes in the 18th century. Directly west is the village of St. Louis, and to the east is Kinistino. Birch Hills continues to grow, thanks to its location as a Prince Albert satellite community.
